Job Description

Are you a seasoned engineering leader looking for new challenges? Are you motivated by creating great user experience and working with a few products which brings millions of users into our LEGO connected ecosystem and have large impact to our personalization journey? This position is based either at LEGO Campus Billund or LEGO digital hub Copenhagen. Come and have a dialogue with us.

As an engineering manager, you will lead a few highly talented engineering teams containing designers, frontend- and backend engineers who craft seamless onboarding experiences and manage consent solution to the LEGO connected ecosystem through our key product cluster – LEGO Account.

There is no relocation support connected to recruitment of this role.


Core Responsibilities



  • Recruit engineering talents and support their continuous development through mentoring, coaching and structured competency building activities.
  • Act as a playing coach, apply your technical expertise to improve the delivery outcome of the product teams which can be experience enhancement, architecture, engineering practice, code quality, team ways of working and/or operational efficiencies.
  • Take part in product trio leadership teams, and interact with broad internal & external partners related to LEGO account and consent.
  • Participate in kids and ecosystem leadership team to foster an engineering culture with focus on efficiency, quality and innovation.

The Kids and Ecosystem Technology (KET) department is responsible for delivering a broad set of applications incl. kids.lego.com, LEGO Play app, LEGO account and platforms – consent, tracking, moderation etc. cross consumer and shopper facing digital experiences. KET contributes to the LEGO group’s long-term ambition towards building direct and long-lasting relationship (BDLR) with kids, adults and families.

Do you have what it takes



  • 8+ years in software engineering with previous people management experience.
  • You are not foreign to React, Typescript and/or C#, AWS etc.
  • Strong partner management, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Frequent travel between Billund and Copenhagen is needed.
  • Experience managing multiple delivery teams is a plus.
