Here is your chance to make a difference! You will be deeply involved in the continuous transformation of the manufacturing systems and capabilities needed to deliver enhanced play experiences through new digital components complementing the traditional LEGO System in Play!

This is a perfect position if you want to work with mechatronics and mechanics and are passionate about developing technical solutions.


Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will support future growth ambitions & commercial strategy by taking a Processing Lead role in an Engineering project team dedicated to electronics manufacturing. You will drive the technical development of the production platforms needed to produce mechatronic products.

More over, you will



  • Drive needed tradeoff discussion and decision processes to ensure optimal production setup
  • Ensure innovative quality assurance and quality control in production system using extensive knowledge within design for manufacturing and world class manufacturing principles
  • Identify capability gaps within process engineering between current Processing capabilities and future needs.



This position is located in Billund, and there is no relocation support available for this role.

Global Electronics Process Engineering team (part of the Processing Research & Development organisation) is responsible for developing, manufacturing and maintaining production equipment needed for producing an amazing new type of product with speed, effectiveness and efficiency. This responsibility includes cooperating with Product Design organisations, other Engineering departments as well as the global manufacturing sites. This is a team of 16 employees located worldwide and an organization that is continuously growing. The team consists of Technical Project Managers, Process managers and equipment Developers.

Do you have what it takes?



  • Demonstrated working experience in managing complex engineering projects (preferable from consumer electronics industry)
  • Proven knowledge of DFX methodology (mainly DFM), solid understanding of electronics test platforms
  • Experience working with handling and assembly of technology components with plastic components including Design for Manufacturing, testing platforms, and IPC
  • Demonstrated ability in using 3D CAD software (preferable Siemens NX) and working with 2D drawings - technical specification and documentation
  • Decisive, forward-thinking leader with a strong role model behavior who excels under pressure and is fully committed to success
  • Professional level of English
  • Willingness to travel up to 30 days per year
