Your Position
As a Strategic Buyer in our Transitional Energies division, you will become a valuable member of our dedicated Procurement team, working strategically with sourcing and purchasing.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities
As our new Strategic Buyer, you will work closely with Operational Support in Transitional Energies, related to Procurement activities on External workforce and Consultancies required from the requestors across Semco. You will take the ownership, develop with your stakeholders and anchor the strategic direction in the area. You will ensure compliance with Semco Maritime Procurement Processes and Procedures.

Your Tasks Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Close collaboration with Operational Support and other Divisions in Semco
- Develop and anchor the sourcing strategies for the area
- Optimizing the supply base together with internal stakeholders
- Contract negotiation & compliance
- Supplier Relationship Management
- Compliance with Semco Maritime Procurement process
We are looking for an outgoing and positive Strategic Buyer, who is passionate about Procurement and eager to leave their personal mark. You are proactive, have an organized approach and have ambition and motivation to improve. You have the drive and like to work in a dynamic organization, where things can move at a high pace.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- A relevant education minimum at bachelor level and +5 years of experience within Strategic Procurement.
- Experience with Procurement or Sourcing of external manpower.
- Solid contract negotiation and change management skills.
- Excellent in stakeholder management.
- A solid business understanding.
- Fluency in English at a negotiation level; local language skills are an advantage.
