Do you enjoy bringing the visual perspective to communications, events and programmes? Are you a student in graphic design or multimedia design looking for a role where you can produce new visual content across multiple channels?
Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship (CSE) at Copenhagen Business School is looking for a visual design student assistant to create captivating content and visual materials for this exciting entrepreneurial environment. This role will have a key function in bringing CSE’s brand and visual expression to life for all our activities in the form of social media graphics, posters, one-pagers, merchandise, etc.
As our new team member, you will deliver a range of materials across activities at CSE. In particular, the visual design student assistant will support in creating and maintaining visual guidelines, make engaging and creative designs to purposefully develop CSE’s brand visually across all touchpoints of communication. This means creating visuals for both digital and physical spaces.
We are searching for a colleague who is:
- Motivated by the role of visual communications in physical and digital formats.
- Diligent and organised – can anticipate needs and take responsibility for your part in coordinating visual materials, adhering to brand guidelines and producing high-quality work in a timely manner.
- A resourceful person who engages effectively in nontraditional or evolving settings and is adept at problem-solving.
- A dynamo when it comes to software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite, and emerging visual communications platforms.
- In the second or third year of your bachelor's degree, or beginning your master's degree, with a focus on graphic design, animation, multimedia design or communications.
- Curious about the use of AI as a concept development and design tool.
What might a day or week look like in the role?
- Creating layouts and assets for social media, info screens, posters, websites, presentations and one-pagers in Figma, Illustrator or InDesign.
- Designing marketing material, e.g. tote bags, stickers, posters, t-shirts, etc.
- Becoming familiar with the goal of the assignment and researching inspiration as needed.
- Producing mock-ups and storyboards that provide a rough idea of the finished working design.
- Seeking feedback from stakeholders after the initial design is complete.
- Revising work based on input from stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Providing regular progress updates for the design team.
- Stakeholder liaison with departments within CSE and CBS to adhere to the CBS brand.
What you should bring
- Clarity in communication skills, crucial for establishing connections and working alongside various individuals.
- Solid experience in Adobe Creative Suite, skills in Illustrator are a must. Experience with Figma is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Experience in creating print-ready materials and working with print suppliers.
- Good IT skills and English language skills, as we are an international team.

On a more general note, the job as a student assistant requires that you can keep a good overview when multiple tasks need to be solved at the same time. You are currently a second/third-year bachelor’s or master’s student. This role is for 15-20 hours a week.
