At Phillips Medisize, you will be part of a team that brings groundbreaking ideas to life, making a tangible impact on healthcare and patient outcomes. Our team consists of 12 colleagues; they work as Project, Program Managers, and Product Managers. The team works out of both the Struer and Copenhagen site. What You Will Do

  • Product Lifecycle Management (LCM): Own and manage the medical device product (portfolio) post-manufacturing, including sustaining engineering, product improvements, and end-of-life planning. Implement continuous improvements based on customer feedback, clinical data, and technological advancements. Manage product changes, updates, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the central point of accountability for product definition and activity prioritization. Coordinate engineering team members, process/manufacturing engineering, regulatory, and quality teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Customer-Centric: Build partnerships through upfront alignment with your customer.
  • Project Proposals: Make quote material, scope of work and present to costumer.
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain high-level product plans, including milestones, deliverables, and resource needs. Ensure that technical risks, regulatory constraints, and business goals are integrated into planning.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Proactively align with global and local internal stakeholders.
  • Travel: Expect up to 20% travel between the two Danish sites.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in engineering, Sciences, Business, or equivalent
  • Project Expertise: Experience in product/project management within the medical device industry.
  • Industry Experience: Several years in medtech, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated industries.
  • Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in English
  • Technical Understanding: Ability and willingness to grasp technical aspects of projects.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Product Management (LCM): Proven success in managing medical device products, starting from manufacturing stage through to product discontinuation. Strong technical background with experience in troubleshooting and sustaining medical devices.
  • Project Management: Proven success in managing large development projects within medical devices.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience coordinating engineering team members, process/manufacturing engineering, regulatory, and quality teams within LCM activities.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of medical device regulations and standards
  • Customer Relations: Strong experience in client interaction and relations
  • Commercial Experience: Experience with defining scope of delivery in commercial contracts
  • Consultancy Success: Proven consultancy experience in medtech, pharma or other highly regulated industry
  • Proactive Ownership: Demonstrated proactive and execution mindset.
  • Communication Skills: Effective engagement with all organizational levels. Experience with exposure to Senior Management
