As a Project Manager within Engineering Enzyme DK, you’ll have the unique opportunity to contribute to Novonesis achieving its goals by designing and implementing CAPEX projects for our production facilities in Zealand, primarily in Kalundborg.
You’ll enjoy a high degree of autonomy in an organization with an open-minded, informal culture. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, execution, and follow-up on various projects, all carried out with a strong focus on safety while ensuring that timelines, costs, and functionality align with expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary work location will be in Zealand, predominantly in Kalundborg.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, execution, and follow-up on various projects, all carried out with a strong focus on safety while ensuring that timelines, costs, and functionality align with expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution: Implement the project sponsor’s strategy with a strong focus on design, schedule, quality, and costs.
- Technical Expertise: Leverage your technical knowledge while maintaining a holistic approach and an overview of the project.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration within project teams.
- Leadership: Guide your team in overcoming challenges, setting priorities, staying focused, and keeping projects on track.
- Culture Building: Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.
- Reporting: Deliver regular status, progress, and risk reports to the leadership team and steering group.
- Collaborative Approach: Foster a consensus-seeking and cooperative approach, working alongside a wide range of stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards in all project management activities.
- You’ll be responsible for assembling the optimal project team. Depending on your qualifications and the project’s nature, you’ll either apply your own technical expertise or work closely with external engineering partners.
- To succeed in this role, we believe you’ll bring the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in process or mechanical engineering; PMP / PMI or similar project management certification preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a project manager, ideally leading CAPEX projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to deliver results, manage priorities, and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
- Proficiency in managing design, construction, testing, and validation phases.
- Experience in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or life sciences industries.
Your primary work location will be in Zealand, predominantly in Kalundborg.
