Your Role
As a backend developer at HR-ON, you will play a central role in the further development of our serverless HR platform. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining GraphQL APIs for both internal and external solutions.
- Integrating our platform with third-party systems and ensuring robust API connections.
- Working with PostgreSQL and MariaDB to optimize data handling and develop complex queries that support API integration.
- Building and implementing backend functionality in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Collaborating closely with frontend teams and external partners to ensure seamless API exchanges.
- Ensuring high code quality and performance through best practices and team collaboration.
- Participating in decision-making processes regarding architecture and API structure.
We are looking for a backend developer with experience in API integrations and a technological curiosity, who:
- Has experience with GraphQL or REST APIs and system integrations.
- Is experienced with PostgreSQL and MariaDB and complex database queries.
- Works proficiently with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Has knowledge of AWS Lambda and serverless compute technologies.
- Is familiar with version control in GitLab.
- Can think in a scalable and maintainable way, especially regarding API structure.
Bonus if you also:
- Have experience with setting up and maintaining AWS infrastructure.
- Are familiar with scripting in Linux/Mac (Bash, Zsh).
- Are used to writing type-safe and declarative code.
