Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a student worker in strategic indirect procurement IM&S, where you'll support Category Managers on daily tasks as well as participate in diverse projects, streamline procurement processes, and support co-creation of effective content strategies for subcategories that enhance efficiency and drive value across the organization!
Core Responsibilities
Procurement IM&S is a global team, and is part of the Global Procurement team that is center-led and functional driven, fully integrated into the LEGO Groups’ systems and processes that connect the overall business strategy & requirements with the global product categories and regional procurement teams.
The Procurement organization is mainly based across the LEGO hubs and sites; Billund, Singapore, Shanghai, Enfield, London, Shenzhen,
and in other manufacturing locations Czech Republic, Hungary, China and Mexico. This position will be based in Billund.
The Procurement student worker report to local Billund appointed Senior Manager. These roles will help us accelerate some key projects as well as driving improvements through our existing team.

Core Responsibilities
- Involved in IM&S procurement projects across categories as well as the deployment of solutions to the different categories – planning, execution, change, communications, training and support
- Support and provide input to category teams in order to drive procurement improvements through local and global initiatives
- Engaged in the management of overall procurement processes/policies, compliance, sustainability, content enablement, standardization, etc…
- Co-develop Value, efficiency, compliance, sustainability KPIs for procurement
- Connect with stakeholders and relevant category teams to establish content strategies and WoW to feed into overall procurement strategic approach

Do you have what it takes?
- It is a prerequisite that you are enrolled in an educational institution during your employment as a student worker with two years of study time left.
- Preferably you are a student in supply chain management, operations, procurement. Following fields are also acceptable finance, legal, engineering & business.
- You have very good communiction skills.
- You have very good analytical skills.
- You have the ability to lead a program of multiple simultaneous projects / initiatives.
- Manufacturing and Operations/supply chain/Procurement experience.
- English at fluent level is required.
