We are expanding our team and are therefore looking for a self-driven and experienced new colleague to fill a position as Supply Chain Program Lead. The ideal candidate, who should possess great communicative skills and a holistic mindset, will be joining a team of highly dedicated professionals in the Supply chain organization at our site in Hillerød.

About The Department/Team

The Supply Chain Program team is a centralized function leading the implementation of new customer programs and keeping oversight of already implemented programs from a supply chain perspective. We represent supply chain towards customers, facilitate supply chain related meetings, and lead end-to-end initiatives by continuously striving to identify opportunities to improve systems and processes related to customer programs.

The Supply Chain Program team is part of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization, which also covers Sourcing, Supply Planning, Warehouse, Shipping, SC compliance, Strategic Planning, and SAP Master Data. We are strengthening our supply chain organization continuously, securing all functions and building a truly end-to-end supply chain serving our customers - internally as well as externally. About The Position

The Supply Chain Program Lead is accountable for the supply chain deliverables of assigned customer programs from the initial dialogue in the customer proposal phase to the product leaves our site. As Supply Chain Program Lead, you are the key link between our customers and the supply chain organization – as well as between the supply chain organization and other internal stakeholders. The main responsibility of this role is to take the lead on supply chain related deliverables linked to customer programs.

Our customer base involves a myriad of biopharma companies which means each project we work on brings a unique set of challenges. You have the uncanny ability to work and build relationships with customers and internal cross-functional teams alike, are an effortless communicator, and can quickly get up to speed on details and challenges. You have a great interpersonal understanding and are skilled at navigating ambiguity and possess the ability to juggle many tasks simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities

Supply Chain lead when onboarding new customer programs.

  • Support SC activities in the customer proposals phase, such as assessment of materials and vendors
  • New material / vendor onboarding activities
  • Ensure business processes between customers and the supply chain organization are in place and/or contribute to establishing them. This includes strong link to other functions such as QC raw materials.
  • Review contractual agreements and ensure business processes are in place to support obligations from a SCM perspective.
  • Facilitate coordination between all SCM functions and lead SCM as well as raw materials sub-team meetings (both internal & with customers).
  • Represent SCM in customer meetings, core teams and stage gate meetings.
  • Provide SCM program updates, identify and communicate potential risks and participate in cross-functional tasks / initiatives when needed.


Supply Chain lead in already established customer programs.

  • Part of core teams for customer programs ensuring good cooperation with overall program management and counterparts from other functions.
  • Representing SCM in customer meetings.
  • Provide SCM program updates, identify, communicate, and mitigate potential risks.
  • Coordinate requests besides business as usual and drive initiatives from end-to-end perspective supporting customer programs.


Supply Chain continuous improvement and project management

  • React quickly to unexpected challenges with short notice to support solutions for the customers/site.
  • Lead Supply Chain end-to-end improvement initiatives based on lessons learned from working with customer programs.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams beyond supply chain to implement changes and/or improve processes related to customer programs.


Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following background and skill sets:

Professional Qualifications

  • HD/Cand. Merc/Engineer or equivalent.
  • +5 years of relevant experience.
  • Customer-centric mindset.
  • Experience working in various areas within the supply chain field such as sourcing, purchasing, planning, shipping, warehouse, and master data management
  • Experience working with project management and continuous improvement.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Thrive in an international environment where things are constantly changing.
