As a Senior Project Manager, you will experience a high level of autonomy and will be responsible for the planning, execution, and follow-up of various projects. All projects will be executed with a strong focus on safety while ensuring that timelines, costs, and functionality align with expectations.

You will be responsible for assembling the most optimal project team. Depending on your qualifications and the nature of the project, you will either apply your own technical expertise or collaborate closely with external engineering partners.

Your role will involve significant interaction across the organization, allowing you to quickly build a network within Novozymes. Whether your project team is large or small, composed of internal or external members, you will be accountable for ensuring that the project complies with Novozymes' safety policies, regulatory guidelines, unique project model, and best practices.

• Leveraging your technical expertise while maintaining a holistic approach and the ability to keep an overview of the project.
• Being an effective communicator and facilitator, providing clear communication to the steering group with regular updates on project progress, budget, risks, and timelines.
• Adopting a consensus-seeking and collaborative approach, working with a wide range of diverse stakeholders.
• Dedicating yourself to handing over projects to production and maintenance with the necessary documentation to enable optimal operations moving forward.
• Working both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development and sharing new ideas and knowledge with colleagues.
  
  

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need

• A relevant academic background, such as mechanical, process, or electrical engineering, or a similar qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a project manager, preferably within the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or life sciences industries.
• A relevant project management certification, such as PMP/PMI, is a strong advantage, as is experience in construction and contract management, including familiarity with AB18 regulations.
• A dynamic and outgoing personality combined with a results-oriented and structured approach to work.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work efficiently without close supervision.
• Fluency in both Danish and English, written and spoken.
  
  

Location

Your primary work location will be in Zealand, predominantly in Kalundborg.
