Key Responsibilities
- Performance management/ Management Reporting: Drive accurate, timely and aligned reporting of financial and operational performance indicators for monthly close and forecasting, incl. KPIs and ad-hoc analyses. Act as the analytical anchor point for Network cost and capacity performance reviews, drive follow ups and gap to plan closure. Challenge the network decisions and drive efficiency across the finance team
- Focal point for utilization reporting, for monthly, forecasting and ad hoc.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Responsible for coordinating and executing the quarterly rolling forecast within the Deployment and Network cost scope.
- Partnering: Contribute to form business decisions and enable follow-up. Assist in evaluating alternative scenarios and providing recommendations to the business. Perform ad-hoc analysis and insights to business based on business need.
- Coordination/Collaboration: Maintain close connection with wider Ocean Network Finance and Network Cost community (Fleet Finance and TbM Operations Finance).
- Continuous improvement: Drive simplification of reports, analytics tools and automation of reporting for capacity and network cost performance management
- The ideal candidate for the role will have a background in high-impact finance roles, with a previous experience with contributing to business results through financial insights.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration combined with at 5+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Project Management, Strategy Consultancy or equivalent.
- Effective collaboration and open communication skills, enabling engagement and influence on multiple stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Proven analytical and logical capacity, being able to zoom in on the relevant details, while never losing sight of the big picture. Conveying insights extracted from data into concise, commonly understood business language for effective decision-making. Working with large sets of data is a must as well as being an experienced user of excel.
- You have great interpersonal skills, strong integrity and a humble personality that goes well with people at all levels in a global organization.
- Experience from the Shipping or Logistics industry are an advantage.
