Prototyping, test and other engineering tasks in part time job (15-20h/week)
We are looking for a mechanical engineering student to help our mechanical R&D engineers in their daily work, and to aid our manufacturing department with production tools, fixtures and root-cause analysis for various minor quality issues.
This is an exciting position that will give you plenty of learning opportunities and hands-on experience with many aspects of product development, and working hours can be adapted to your study-schedule and exams.
Examples of what you will do in MagVenture for 15-20 hours/week in average:
- Preparing drafts of technical drawings and -specifications using SolidWorks
- Designing brackets and fixtures for test-setups and 3D-printing the result
- Reverse-engineering of STEP/STL-files and updating drawings to new drawing standards
- Creating a technical library of CAD-files, templates and compliance documentation
- Assemble and modify prototypes and perform tests on them.
Perfect student profile:
- Final year of your bachelor, or started your master’s degree
- Open-minded with a positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Experience with SolidWorks CAD software
- Fluent English, both spoken and written (ability to speak Danish is not a requirement)
- Systematic, structured with strong attention to details and quality
- Experience with 3D-printing, measuring equipment and FEM-simulation will be considered a plus.
