What is the job about?
As a Full-Stack Software Developer at Grundfos, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining in-house MES/MIS IT systems that support critical production processes across manufacturing sites around the globe. Working within a cross-functional SCRUM team, you will leverage cutting-edge technologies such as .NET, React, and modern DevOps practices to deliver scalable solutions that empower efficient and digitalized operations.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications using .NET, C#, React, MS SQL and Azure cloud services.
- Create APIs and backend services to support business processes and enable system integration.
- Integrate systems with SAP and shop-floor automation equipment using industrial protocols such as OPC UA.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from production engineering, IT, and infrastructure to translate business needs into reliable software solutions.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts for build, test, and deployment.
- Participate actively in SCRUM ceremonies, including planning sessions, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Provide mentorship and technical support to associate developers in the team.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and initiatives for continuous improvement.
We imagine that you have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in full-stack development using .NET, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, MS SQL and Azure cloud.
- A solid understanding of software engineering principles, patterns, and practices, such as SOLID.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization concepts, and web application frameworks.
- Proficiency with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and scripting tools such as PowerShell.
- Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP and/or shop-floor integration using protocols like OPC UA or MQTT.
- Experience developing and configuring the Siemens Opcenter Discrete MES platform .
