Are you a people manager and eager to join a fast-growing pharmaceutical company? Now you have a unique opportunity as we are looking for a Supervisor/Associate Manager who shares our passion, drive, and energy – what we call Genki – to join Finish goods maintenance team in Hillerod.

About The Position

  • You will get the overall responsibility and authority to deliver value to our customers, including people and process management, safety and quality compliance, continuous improvement and supporting of planning activities.
  • You will lead a team of 6 employees to achieve the expected results in terms of efficient technical support and maintenance of our assembly, label, and packaging lines on the shop floor.
  • Daily management of the FG maintenance team. This will also include coordinating of activities with cross-functional teams.
  • As we are a biopharmaceutical company, our processes take place in a GMP regulated environment and therefore we expect you to have GMP knowledge from either the medical industry or similar.
  • You will be part of a leadership team in FG & DP maintenance, currently consisting of 3 leaders. Furthermore, you will also be part of the site Maintenance extended leadership team.


Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Operation

  • Ensure timely and efficient technical support and maintenance of the FG equipment at shop floor
  • Follow up on FG equipment issues together with relevant parties in the organization
  • Responsible for timely and sufficient communication to relevant parties in case of a breakdown or another critical issue at one of the production lines
  • Come up with improvement ideas together with the team, work with relevant parties to implement optimizations as part of the daily work
  • Work closely with the equipment engineers in the Manufacturing science and technology team to support various projects on the equipment. This could vary from smaller optimizations to larger investments projects.
  • Act as a natural partner for the production team in the daily work at and around the shop floor

  • Lead activities to improve safety in your area, keep focus on cost reduction and energy optimization.

  • Ensure that your employees are properly qualified and trained.


Qualifications

  • You have a bachelor’s degree within Mechanical/Electrical or Marine engineering combined with a relevant leadership education
  • We expect you to have minimum 1-3 years of experience within people management.
  • You have relevant experience from the Pharma, Biotech or Food manufacturing industry
  • GMP knowledge
  • A candidate with technical experience within the FG business area is preferred.
  • You have a high customer focus and understanding of customer needs.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills.


As a person, you are good at building relationships that foster trust across the organisation.

With your open and positive approach to people, you see and lift your people to grow with you and with the organisation. You possess strong communication skills, and you can communicate honestly with all levels of the organisation, in English as well as in Danish. You know how to practice visible leadership through GEMBA walks and participation in board meetings, etc.

Last but not least, you have excellent coaching and people skills and a personality that interacts well with all your stakeholders.

FG maintenance & automation team

The FG maintenance & automation team in Hillerød consists of 6 highly skilled, experienced, and dedicated employees. We work in a busy, dynamic and inspiring environment and we will, over the coming years support the preparation and installation of new equipment arriving in the FG area.

As a team we strive to increase equipment performance of the 9 production lines to world class level. We use production data as a key cornerstone in everything we do, and we are proud of our technical continuous improvement program track record of success.

We have a close collaboration across the team with focus on teamwork, acknowledgment of the individuals and their ideas, humour, and the courage to see mistakes as potential learning situations.
