Funding and Writing Specialist for the Green Transition

Writing, editing, developing, and refining funding applications 

Are you interested in green technology and are you good at writing and editing professional texts in Danish or English? Then this job is for you. 

1st Mile assists customers in finding financing for innovative technology projects, primarily within the green transition. 

At 1st Mile you will be part of an international team of eight dedicated colleagues, all specialists in technology or business development. Together with the team, you will write, review, editor and refine the project applications before submission. 

You will work closely with your colleagues, who will all contribute to their own part of the applications, and it will be you who is responsible for ensuring that the applications get "one" voice. 

You will play a key role in ensuring that each application meets 1st Mile's high quality standards and that each application communicates its message clearly to the reader. 

There may be peak periods leading up to application deadlines; however, all deadlines are known well in advance, and 1st Mile is skilled at planning to avoid excessive workloads. 

During quieter times, there will be opportunities to take time off and to focus on optimizing 1st Mile's processes and methods. Additionally, remote work is possible when it aligns with the workflow. 

You come from a position where you have produced, refined, and reviewed extensive texts in English. Experience in writing applications for support programs is an advantage but not a requirement.  

Experience in green energy or energy infrastructure is an advantage but not a requirement. 

Competencies and professional insight within green technology, business development, economics and budgeting are an advantage but not a requirement. 

It is a requirement that your English in writing is at (almost) native level. Communication in the office and in dialogue with customers and partners is in English. 

You work independently, structured, and detail-oriented with a focus on meeting tight deadlines. You keep track of several parallel and complex project applications while you support your colleagues in completing applications – even when you work under pressure.
