As CTO, Head of Technology Strategy, you will join the Product Creation Management Team at Bang & Olufsen, reporting directly to our COO. In this forward-thinking leadership position, you will oversee and shape our technology strategy across product, embedded systems, cloud solutions, software platforms, hardware, and innovation initiatives. You will be instrumental in guiding B&O’s approach to developing innovative sound experiences that marry technology with design and skillful craftsmanship.

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package
Location: Struer or Kongens Lyngby, Denmark (Flexible with regular visits to Denmark)

Key Responsibilities
- Craft Bang & Olufsen’s long-term technology strategy by working closely with the COO.
- Guide architecture and platform decisions to support our pillars: Luxury, Timeless, Technology.
- Engage and build partnerships with key external technology collaborators around the world.
- Develop and implement innovation frameworks that facilitate groundbreaking product development.
- Explore and adopt new technologies to ensure B&O's leadership in premium consumer electronics.
- Serve as a bridge between engineering and executive leadership to align technological direction with business outcomes.
- Represent Bang & Olufsen in external forums and partnerships, building a global voice for technology excellence.

- Demonstrated leadership in a senior technical role within premium consumer electronics or related industries.
- Deep knowledge of electronics, product development, embedded software (C++, Linux, Yocto, FreeRTOS, Zephyr), cloud integration, quality, system design.
- Experience with full product development lifecycles and platform strategy.
- A track record of leading innovation and bringing next-generation technology to market.
- Proficient in providing strategic guidance that resonates with C-suite executives.
- Clear and compelling communication and storytelling ability.
- An innovative mindset that supports progressive ideas and new approaches.
