About Agreena

Agreena is an exciting, dynamic, and purpose-oriented organisation united in a mission to mobilise farmers and corporations to unlock the value of nature and help restore the planet. While we’re rooted in agriculture, finance, and technology, our team of experts range from soil carbon scientists and software developers to market strategists and regulatory affairs experts. Over 160 employees across more than 30 nationalities are gathered under the common Agreena flag – either working from our headquarters in Copenhagen, offices in London, or remotely across Europe.

As a rapidly scaling climate agtech, Agreena provides solutions that drive both environmental and financial sustainability in farming. We have helped farmers across 20 countries in their journey from conventional agriculture to regenerative farming practices to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and remove CO2 from the atmosphere, storing it in soil. Our company offers a supportive and positive work environment with opportunities for learning, leading and growth no matter where you are in your professional journey. We believe in giving our employees a lot of responsibility, and we encourage new thinking, innovation and fun.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Student Assistant who can join our People Team to support with ongoing operational and recruitment related tasks. You will be trusted with a high level of responsibility and ownership, but you will always be supported and work in close collaboration with the rest of the People team. The role will focus on ensuring high-quality and structure of our People processes, and you will be supporting on day-to-day People activities and projects across the entire employee lifecycle.

We imagine that you will be working 15-20 hours per week, of course with flexibility to attend classes and around exam and holiday periods. If relevant for your studies, there is potential for the role to become part of a student internship program (this is however not a requirement).

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Assist the team with building scalable HR processes, preparing the business for growth
  • Support with contract creation, interview scheduling and onboarding coordination
  • Update and maintain a high People data quality across our People platforms (our systems include HiBob, OysterHR, Ashby, Notion and Trello)
  • Help manage and evolve our internal programs, including our onboarding journey and buddy program for new joiners

Who We’re Looking For

  • A proactive and structured student with a keen interest in People Operations and recruitment
  • Someone who is confident in handling admin-heavy tasks and has a knack for details (without getting hung up on it)
  • Someone who is comfortable working independently and managing their own time, but also thrives in a small collaborative team
  • A good communicator with strong People skills

Bonus points if you have

  • 1 year or more left of your studies (this could for example be within HR Management, Business Administration, Corporate Communications or similar)
  • System-savviness and/or experience within People related systems or Google Workspace
  • Prior experience in an HR, operations or administrative role
  • Familiarity with general HR practices and/or Danish employment law
  • While strong English language skills is a must, Danish language skills will be considered an advantage but not a requirement

What's in it for you?

  • A unique opportunity to join and help shape a fast-growing tech scale up with the determination and ambitious mission to reverse climate change;
  • A truly global environment where you can collaborate and socialise with diverse and passionate colleagues;
  • Competitive compensation package and holidays;
  • Centrally located modern office in Copenhagen and the option to work from home a couple days a week;
  • An exciting purpose-led culture and mission;
  • Open communication and supportive feedback culture.
