PPO Digitalization & Excellence (D&E) in Operations
Our team is part of a larger organization responsible for Planning and Portfolio Optimization (PPO) on behalf of Novonesis Operations. PPO D&E is responsible for driving excellence in global planning processes (S&OP) and supportive systems (SAP IBP and APO). On behalf of PPO, we own the digitalization roadmap and deliver a wide range of critical business insights tools to enable Novonesis’s strategic goals and needs.
We are an international team of highly skilled planning and production experts, committed to shaping the future of planning and production execution in Novonesis. We support each other through close collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a strong team spirit that helps us navigate both everyday tasks and complex challenges.

We are looking for a Master Data Specialist to join our newly established Digitalization & Analytics team within the Planning and Portfolio Optimization (PPO) department. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact by helping shape the digital foundation of a growing team and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
As a Master Data Specialist, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the quality and consistency of master data that underpins our planning and production processes. Working at the heart of our S/4HANA implementation, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders to establish a strong and reliable data foundation that supports our digital transformation journey.
What You'll Do
A position within the Digitalization & Analytics team, featuring an international work environment and the opportunity to contribute to a major digital transformation. You’ll work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with experts across the organization. Limited travel requirements, with a maximum of 10 days per year.
Work model: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Work schedule: Standard full-time schedule
Travel requirements: Up to 10 working days per year

Join Us in Shaping the Digital Future of PPO
We are looking for a Master Data Specialist to join our newly established Digitalization & Analytics team within the Planning and Portfolio Optimization (PPO) department. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact by helping shape the digital foundation of a growing team and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
As a Master Data Specialist, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the quality and consistency of master data that underpins our planning and production processes. Working at the heart of our S/4HANA implementation, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders to establish a strong and reliable data foundation that supports our digital transformation journey.
What You'll Do
- Ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and governance of master data across SAP Forecast To Plan and Plan To Produce processes
- Collaborating closely with process experts and the S/4HANA core implementation team.
- Running PPO Master Data Operations by managing, validating, and optimizing data flows.
- Utilizing tools such as SAP Datasphere, Knime, Snowflake, and Power BI to monitor and improve data quality.
- Identifying and resolving data issues while proactively driving improvements in data governance and standards.
- Contributing to the development of scalable, intuitive data solutions that support strategic decision-making.
- A degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in Master Data Management, Data Quality, or Data Operations.
- A solid understanding of SAP processes, particularly within Forecast to Plan and Plan to Produce.
- In-depth knowledge of Planning and Manufacturing processes in a global ERP environment.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, with exposure to S/4HANA transformation projects being a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in BI analytics and data profiling tools such as Datasphere, KNIME, Snowflake, and Power BI.
- A structured, analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across functions and organizational levels.
