You’ll join the Swedish Business Development team at Abacus Medicine. We are a team of seven full-time employees and three student analysts, working closely together across pricing, market analysis, inventory management, and strategic decision-making.

As our new Portfolio Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and optimizing the Swedish parallel import portfolio, in close collaboration with the Portfolio Manager. Your work will directly influence pricing decisions, inventory management, product launches, and operational execution across the entire value chain — from supplier to pharmacy.

Your Main Responsibilities Include

• Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager on pricing, inventory optimization, and risk management.
• Conduct ongoing analysis to refine strategy and support insightful decision-making.
• Oversee new product launches into the portfolio in coordination with product analyst.
• Manage activities related to our warehouse partners to ensure an efficient flow-of-goods.
• Communicate with pharmacies and health authorities when required.
• Align with internal teams (e.g. purchase, supply chain) to execute on inventory strategies.
• Guide and support the student analyst(s) in their daily tasks.
• Support the Country Manager with ad-hoc projects and commercial insight.

We Imagine That You Bring

• A Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional experience in analysis, trading, pharma, or financial decision-making.
• A strong command of Excel and business data tools (Python is a plus).
• Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language (Swedish preferred).
• Familiarity with the Swedish pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
