Senior Manager, Group Financial Planning & Analysis
Are you a financial virtuoso with skill in turning numbers into strategic gold? Do you have an interest in dissecting data and weaving it into compelling narratives? If so, we've been eagerly waiting for you! Would you like to extend your financial experience and develop in the (probably) best company in the world? Have a look at this great opportunity we have for you!
What You’ll Be Doing
Your primary tasks and responsibilities include:
- Being a key stakeholder for our Finance teams on all aspects of financial planning, reporting and performance management.
- Developing and designing reporting and analytics to drive actionable insights, challenge and monitor performance and inform business decision making.
- Quickly and accurately assessing performance and tracking progress to targets.
- Developing, refining, and presenting forecasts that defy the ordinary, guiding our financial ship through uncharted waters.
- Unearth insights from complex datasets, transforming them into strategic gems that drive informed decision-making.
In addition, you will be responsible for building and governing management reporting - standard as well as ad hoc reports - for the senior management and executive leadership team.
What else will you do?
- Deliver analytical power to drive performance deep-dives on an ad-hoc basis.
- Augment data with business insights to identify opportunities that can help drive the top-line growth and/or cost reduction.
- Define, execute and implement harmonized reporting projects across Global Finance in close partnership with relevant stakeholders (Group Commercial Finance, Regional Finance, etc.).
- Provide ongoing coaching and leadership to strengthen the Group FP&A team’s performance towards serving stakeholders’ needs, including CEO & CFO.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, synchronizing efforts to hit financial targets
Your profile:
Proven track record in collaborating in high-performing teams. A professional with a strong understanding of business intelligence and data flows in a financial system landscape
You understand that in an ever-changing, dynamic and data-driven environment, an agile FP&A process helps an organisation to navigate successfully through uncertainty. You get energy from continuing to deliver what is required, while in the meantime transitioning to agile FP&A.
You are a team player and are focused on driving a “One Winning Team” culture and a global agenda.
Your skills and experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of planning, budgeting and forecasting experience from similar role(s) in a global organization.
- Strong, effective analytical, storytelling, communication and influencing skills with attention to details (verbal as well as written).
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proven ability in problem solving and building solutions in a systematic approach.
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Preferably experience from a company owning the full value chain, so experience from the FMCG industry is an advantage, but not a must
- Full professional proficiency in English – verbal and written.
- Good team-building skills and the ability to work across multiple teams
We’re asking for a lot, but you’ll be well-rewarded with an exciting career opportunity working in a historical company with a proud history both within beer and science. You will have the chance to create innovative solutions and change the future of brewing science.
We can offer you an attractive compensation & benefits package, a development in a multicultural environment and a chance to be part of a top-tier international finance organization with highly skilled professionals working together in an informal and collegial environment at the new Carlsberg Central Office in Copenhagen.
