Kontrakttype: Deltid

We are looking for an electronics engineering student assistant to help our R&D electronics team in their daily work.

The position is 7-15 hours a week (flexible during exam & vacation periods) and the location is at our headquarter in Farum (10-15 minutes walk from the station).

The Job

As our new Electronics Student Assistant, you’ll support the R&D Electronics team with hands-on tasks that keep prototypes, lab equipment, and our workspace running smoothly, with tasks like:

  • Soldering & rework – through-hole and SMD on prototypes and boards
  • Cable & harness assembly – crimping, routing, labelling
  • Lab testing – take basic measurements with oscilloscopes or multimeters
  • Documentation – handle small documentation tasks
  • Ad-hoc electronics support – assist colleagues with troubleshooting and other hands-on tasks that pop up
  • Future growth opportunity – if you’re up for it, you can later take on small PCB layout jobs for test rigs and fixtures.

You will collaborate closely with hardware, software and mechanical engineers but will also get plenty of independent “own-it” tasks.

Who are you

  • Enrolled in a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering/Elektroteknologi
  • Decent hands-on soldering skills (you know the smell of flux)
  • Comfortable with the basics of analogue & digital electronics – you can read a schematic and follow a signal
  • Passionate tinkerer – maybe you have a hobby project
  • Can work independently, yet enjoy solving problems together with a multidisciplinary team
  • Clear written & spoken English; Danish is a plus.

What you can expect from us

  • A role that fits around your studies – we’re flexible during exam crunch and holidays
  • A front-row seat in a medical-device R&D lab with modern equipment
  • The chance to grow your skills in PCB design, testing, documentation and regulated development
  • Supportive, international colleagues and a friendly, informal culture
  • Subsidised lunch, free coffee/tea and social events at our Farum site.
