Play a key role in a truly international company
To strengthen the focus on the end-to-end value chain, Flex Wind is now looking for a talented candidate to join the company as Chief Sales and Operations Officer (CSOO). Reporting to the CEO, you are a member of the Executive Management Team and contribute significantly to the future development of Flex Wind.
You lead and optimize the operational functions across all locations. Your own management team consists of the regional Heads of Sales and Operations for Europe, LATAM, Africa, and the US. HR is an integral part of Operations, ensuring a close collaboration in relation to people being a major value driver in the projects. The commercial element of the role gives you the opportunity to align customer-facing activities across regions - from the initial lead to the execution.
The focus of the role is to:
- Act as a visible role model for the 10 Flex Wind leadership principles.
- Strengthen leadership capabilities and foster collaboration across regions and functions.
- Lead a safety culture of continuous improvements.
- Drive standardization of business processes across the regions.
- Apply a customer-centric operating model.
- Ensure seamless project execution.
- Optimize workforce planning and people development.
Your portfolio of tasks is primarily:
- Lead the ongoing development of your direct reports and the organization.
- Ensure that organizational capabilities match business needs, and that the processes are cost-effective.
- Secure a solid order pipeline and execution hereof to ensure customer retention.
- Optimize internal processes such as Sales & Operation Planning.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of services across the value chain.
The CSOO role offers a great opportunity to work with colleagues across the company as well as customers.
Due to the decentralized setup, you must expect some travelling activities.
Internationally skilled leader profile – multisite management
You are a seasoned leader who is familiar with the role of leading teams at different locations through senior managers.
Your proven track record includes:
- Translating strategic goals into specific actions.
- Service/after-sales, and/or installation/construction/site management.
- Management of technical/operational staff.
- Commercial Management and customer engagement.
- People and project leadership.
- Driving safety culture improvements and operational excellence.
Your experience is likely from the wind industry, but other lines of business might also be relevant.
You live within commuting distance of Vejle. The position offers flexibility to work from home while requiring in-office presence a few days a week.
