Imagine a future where you will be leading the financial strategy and performance management across our global Operations & Supply organisation while actively steering a significant transformation.
Join us in this role as Senior Director, Global Finance – Operations & Supply, which is part of our Global Finance and Group Business Services Management Team. You will be responsible for an international team located across Europe with + 40 dedicated finance employees supporting the business.
Taking up this senior role, you will enter a matrix organisation where you will become a key contributor in the Operations & Supply Management Team with the benefits of close business integration and execution, while also being part of a global finance organisation, gaining the advantages of a global finance strategy, high professional leverage, shared data systems, platforms and performance metrics.
You will work closely with the Executive Vice President of Operations & Supply as well as the Management Team, taking joint responsibility for converting Group-level strategic initiatives into operational strategies and plans. You will also participate in developing specific initiatives and plans to ensure optimal performance in the supply organization.
As Senior Director, Global Finance, your primary focus will be to ensure a data-driven approach to performance management and business partnering, providing fact-based business insights as the basis for recommendations and discussions in the Management Team.
Combining your financial and analytical background with in-depth business knowledge and acumen, you will provide value-adding financial planning and analysis insights for the organisation. You will oversee processes and tasks within the performance model and annual plan for Operations & Supply.
You will be based at the VELUX office in either Hørsholm or Østbirk, in Denmark, and be part of a Global Finance organisation with a direct report to the Senior Vice President, Global Finance and Group Business Services.
You can expect to travel approximately 30-40 days annually.

You'll play an important role in:
- Leading the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for the Operations & Supply organization, providing insights that improve operational efficiency and cost optimization.
- Partnering closely with Operations & Supply leadership to shape and execute the financial strategy, ensuring alignment with global business objectives.
- Overseeing financial modelling and scenario planning to assess risks and opportunities, guiding the decision-making process.
- Engaging in standardizing financial processes, reports, and tasks across different regions together with the rest of the management team in Global Finance.
- Guiding, supporting, and enhancing a group of finance professionals, cultivating a culture of Excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
- You bring experience from large, complex, international manufacturing companies with a full value chain, where you have demonstrated an ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Have proven experience in Finance Business Partnering and FP&A in a global context and strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in SAP, SAC, and Power BI.
- You have solid leadership experience in relevant Global Finance functions, skilled in delegation and team empowerment, with a focus on developing talent.
- You have excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- You are commercially savvy with a strong understanding of cost optimization and business growth levers.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
