Job Description
Danfoss Climate Solutions, Commercial Compressors (CC) is seeking an innovative manager to lead our newly established and growing engineering team, shaping the future of intelligent technologies within our electronics department.

We are dedicated to developing advanced control algorithms and solutions that enhance product performance to shape the future of our product portfolio. As our new manager in our growing team, you will have a unique opportunity to build team synergies, foster collaboration, and establish a strong technical culture from the ground up. The team is based in Nordborg, and we therefore prefer that you work from there as well. However, we offer a hybrid work model with flexible arrangements.

Job Responsibilities
As our new manager, you will lead a growing team dedicated to the development of innovative electronic technologies that support safe, sustainable, and high-quality product designs. Your focus will be on advancing technical capabilities, driving engineering excellence, and ensuring successful project execution across the full value chain and product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Lead and manage a team of control engineers fostering an innovative and collaborative work environment.
  • Driving the development and timely delivery of innovative electronic solutions, along with relevant technical documentation.
  • Supporting the professional development of team members through regular feedback, clear goals, and tailored growth plans.
  • Fostering strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners, including universities and research institutions.
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to team expansion and recruitment as the organization evolves.

Background & Skills
We are looking for a dedicated and collaborative engineering professional with a strong background in technology development. Your technical expertise is vital, as you will be actively engaged with your team to solve complex challenges. Therefore, you have some years of working experience in this area. While prior leadership experience is a plus, it is your ability to inspire, empower, and communicate effectively that will set you apart.

Your Qualifications Include
  • Preferably, you hold a bachelor and/or master degree in Control Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in helping others grow and succeed.
  • Strong communication and listening skills, combined with an inclusive and supportive leadership approach.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, and the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships across functions.
