DeterTech Danmark ApS is a leading provider of temporary technical security solutions across Denmark and is part of the multinational DeterTech group based in the UK. This is a newly created position working in the busy Finance department based in Slangerup delivering the sales invoicing and cash collection process. As the team is small and the business is growing strongly, the role-holder may have involvement in other Finance processes.
Role Responsibilities And Duties
The role-holder will be responsible for ensuring all customers are accurately invoiced on time and in line with their contractual agreements. They will also be responsible for any credit control processes necessary to ensure the company is paid by its customers in a timely manner for its services.
The main duties are expected to be:
- Raising of sales invoices (and occasionally credit notes) to ensure all customers receive invoices in agreement with the underlying contract and in accordance with the timelines agreed with the customer.
- Dealing with customer queries regarding their invoices.
- Performing credit control duties so that the company receives timely payments from its customers.
- Opening accounts for new customers and identifying credit limits within company guidelines.
- Subject to workload of both the department and the role-holder, the role-holder may be asked to help out on other Finance related tasks as and when necessary.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- The role-holder should have good attention to detail to ensure all revenue is invoiced accurately.
- Experience of credit control will be beneficial.
- Experience of working in other aspects of a Finance environment would be beneficial.
- The role holder should have basic Microsoft Excel skills.
- The role-holder should be literate and be able to speak fluently in Danish.
- Some conversational English would be beneficial.
- Some fluency in Swedish would be of interest but is not required for this role.
