Shape the future of procurement at the heart of DLG Group’s transformation.

DLG Group is on an ambitious transformation journey to unify and modernize our operating model following years of growth through acquisitions. As part of our new COO-led organization, we are establishing a dedicated Indirect Procurement function to elevate performance across all categories of indirect spend – from IT and professional services to facilities, fleet, travel and beyond.

We are now seeking a senior procurement leader to take full responsibility for Indirect Procurement across the DLG Group – building a modern, strategic and value-driven function that operates group-wide and delivers impact at scale.

Location: Fredericia (DK) or Flensburg (DE), with flexibility for remote work part of the time.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As Head of Indirect Procurement, you will:

  • Establish and lead the Group’s Indirect Procurement function, driving performance across all categories and geographies
  • Develop and implement a group-wide procurement strategy with clear targets for value creation, efficiency and compliance
  • Partner with senior leaders across business groups and corporate functions to align needs, unlock savings and manage supplier risk
  • Introduce new ways of working, including category management, sourcing processes, contract lifecycle management and supplier governance
  • Build and lead a high-performing team with clear roles, development plans and accountability
  • Support digitalization and transparency, leveraging tools and data to enable better decision-making and cost control
  • Shape procurement policy and governance, ensuring compliance and alignment with DLG’s commercial, legal and sustainability priorities

This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will play a central role in the execution of DLG’s transformation.

What You Bring

We are looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking procurement leader who can balance strategy with execution and build trust across a diverse organization.

You likely have:

  • Experience designing and leading procurement transformation initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • A structured, data-driven mindset and familiarity with modern procurement tools and systems
  • Experience working across international teams and cultures
  • Strong communication skills in English; German or Danish is a plus
  • A relevant degree in business, supply chain, engineering or similar

Background in sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, or energy is welcome but not required.

What We Offer

  • A senior leadership role with broad responsibility and visible impact
  • The opportunity to shape a newly established function and play a pivotal role in one of DLG’s most important transformation initiatives
  • A collaborative, value-driven culture grounded in long-term ownership, sustainability and close customer connection
