We are looking for an experienced and quick-thinking Copywriter who is a magician with words, appreciates products that have a purpose, and desires to work in-house, as part of a fun and effective team.
As our new Copywriter in the Creative In-house Agency, part of the Marketing & Commercialisation function in the Hearing Division in GN, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating to turn value propositions into relatable, engaging, and commercial messaging to be used across various media to attract hearing care professionals and hearing aid users. This position involves creating product campaigns with a digital and commercial focus for launching new hearing aids globally across the hearing brands ReSound, Beltone, Interton, and Danavox, in over 100 markets.

We serve as the creative core of the organisation, managing the appropriate visuals, tones, and experiences across the Hearing brands and channels. Our goal is to differentiate the brands from the competition and connect with the audience’s emotions and needs. You will join a diverse team where collaboration, hard work, and fun go hand in hand. Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Work closely with Product Marketing from a messaging point of view, translating the developed value propositions into compelling messaging.
- Collaborate with the other copywriters and Designers to create engaging B2B & B2C campaign concepts for GN Hearing brands.
- Support targeted marketing efforts by creating segmented messaging towards existing and potential customers (hearing care professionals).
- Develop messaging (copywriting and copy editing) for campaign assets, such as campaign videos, brochures, websites, social media, one-pagers, explainer videos, etc.
- Create SEO copy for websites to improve search and ranking across our web presence.
- Translate messaging to effectively convey the spirit of our various brands by applying the right brand tone of voice and differentiation.
- Proofread and edit content pieces where the draft text is created elsewhere in the organisation.
- Incorporate global language for accessibility and specific terms and vocabulary for trademarks and third-party compliance.
- Together with other creatives and subject matter experts, brainstorm and develop storyboards for videos, focusing on messaging and storytelling.
- Ensure that our marketing communication is aligned with the value propositions of the GN Hearing product brands.
- Stay up to date with GN Hearing products and services, our target audiences, and our competitors' marketing activities.
- Possess experience from international companies with a focus on B2B, MedTech, Pharma, or similar.
- Are skilled at translating technical product claims into relatable, real-life benefits that inspire people to act, such as buy hearing aids, take a hearing test, learn more, sign up, etc.
- Can think and write commercially, whether creating new stories or bringing a fresh twist to existing ones.
- Can adapt the writing style to suit the audience and purpose, from B2B to B2C, and from product communication to brand and value communication.
- Understands channel communication and can effectively tailor messaging for various channels, formats, and media.
- Bring a wealth of experience and a keen interest in leveraging SEO for impactful website communication.
- Are a native English-speaking copywriter, or have the same level as a native writer, with a keen interest in marketing and experience working in B2B communication.
- Are continuously curious about how to spark interest, engage, motivate, and build relationships with hearing care professionals through marketing.
- Enjoy collaborating with others in brainstorming sessions.
- Are great at analysing situations and translating complexity into simplicity by asking questions and suggesting ways to move forward.
- Are skilled in managing stakeholder relationships and conveying messages based on clear insights and rational arguments, to guide discussions, enhance concepts, and find solutions.
- Cultivate a spirit of collaboration, appreciating the impact of group efforts, and also recognise when to take initiative on your own.
- Thrive in a busy, challenging, and international environment.
