Technical Design Trainee

During your Traineeship at ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel you will get the chance to look into the job of a technical designer in two departments. Thereby you get a good overview of the possibilities you have after completing the education as technical designer specialized in industrial production. At the end you will be able to create 2D and 3D technical documents for sales quotations as well as contract execution of small and large scale engineering projects.

You will learn about and be responsible for:

1st Rotation: Technical Design Trainee in Sales Support

The Sales Support team acts as the link between Sales and Engineering. It supports the sales managers with the creation of initial drawings and quotations. The team converts technical data and information from the sales managers into specific offers for customers.

• 2D Reading flowcharts and plant drawings
• 3D Scanning
• 3D Modelling with Inventor
• Automation documentation in Comos
• Calculation: Calculating structures

2nd Rotation:

After successful sales, the sales support team hands over to the contract execution team. During your time with the contract execution team you will actively participate in the execution of projects from conceptual design to final handover of the project and smaller internal improvement project, which til contribute to strengthen and plant design team

• Technical specifications: OTS, Calculation tools etc.,
• Plant layout design: 2D/3D Inventor
• Automation documentation: Comos
• Plant solution design: Aveva E3D
• Project design reviews: Online/site meetings together with customers
• Design criteria talks with project stakeholders.

3rd Rotation (Optional): In the end of your second rotation together with your managers you will determine the scope of your third rotation with the company
