Senior Piping Engineer

Mantell Associates is partnered with a Life Science Consulting firm, who is looking for a skilled Senior Piping Engineer to become part of a dynamic team based in Copenhagen.

The ideal candidate will take charge of designing and executing piping systems in line with industry regulations and specific project requirements. This role offers a unique opportunity to support initiatives that improve the safety and efficiency of our client’s pharmaceutical facilities.

Senior Piping Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Design and evaluate piping systems, ensuring alignment with relevant codes and project guidelines
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality engineering solutions
• Supervise the construction and installation phases of piping systems, offering technical support and oversight to contractors
• Perform system evaluations and propose improvements to enhance functionality and minimize expenses
• Produce comprehensive engineering documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and reports
• Ensure that all piping activities are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet defined quality criteria
• Support and mentor junior engineers and design personnel
  
  

Senior Piping Engineer - Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in piping engineering within pharmaceutical or biotech environments
• In-depth understanding of piping materials, fabrication techniques, and applicable standards (e.g., ASME, ISO)
• Skilled in the use of piping design tools such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or similar software
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilitie
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a strong team focus
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Danish is an advantage
