Be the link between strategy and execution at STARK Group IT

Are you driven by creating real business value through smart digital solutions? At STARK Group IT, we're looking for a Business Analyst who can turn business needs into clear, actionable deliverables that drive progress and impact.

Why this role matters

As Business Analyst you’ll be instrumental in helping STARK become a truly digitized and data-driven organization. You’ll be a key player in our agile Delivery Team, working to modernize and digitalize core processes across STARK Group. You’ll work with stakeholders across Europe - particularly in Denmark, where our digital journey is currently centred - with the goal of scaling solutions across Northern Europe.

In this role, your success will be measured by your ability to:

  • Gather, analyse, and validate business and data requirements from stakeholders across Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Order Management.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and clear user stories that enable our development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Drive process improvements through IT, ensuring implemented applications are aligned with business workflows and embraced by end-users.
  • Act as a key link between business and developers within the Order Management team, whose platform orchestrates sales and purchase orders across the group.
  • Support quality assurance and product delivery as part of a cross-functional Scrum team - building new functionality from the ground up.

Your insights will directly shape how STARK operates and grows. You’ll help us become a truly digitized, data-driven organization - one solution at a time.

What You Bring

You have a technical foundation - gained through education or hands-on experience – and you have a sharp eye for detail and the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. You’re confident working across functions and levels, and you thrive in an agile, collaborative environment where progress is driven by dialogue.

You are expected to bring:

  • Proven stakeholder management skills – you feel comfortable talking with both business and IT stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • A solid understanding of business processes in Supply Chain and/or Sales.
  • Fluency in Danish and English.
  • Likely a relevant academic background, such as a Master’s in IT, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field.

Location & Travel

You will be based at our office in Aarhus, where you will join a dedicated and cross-functional team consisting of developers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters. We work closely together in an informal environment with a strong focus on professionalism and collaboration. In addition, you will become part of our Business Analyst Community – a professional forum across the organization where you can grow, share knowledge, and spar with other experienced business analysts.

You can expect up to 20 days travel per year.

Welcome to Group IT

When joining Group IT, you will be joining a digital transformation journey as we replace our legacy monoliths and transition towards a modular and flexible integrated setup. Group IT, a dynamic and rapidly evolving part of STARK Group, is responsible for delivering groupwide business-critical IT solutions. We strive to modernize and reimagine the IT landscape to ensure both scalability and composability to meet existing and future business needs, and we would like your help to rethink the way things are done in our industry to offer our customers a superior experience.

Additionally, we offer a flexible work environment with the option for hybrid work (3 days in the office and 2 days from home), employee benefits including discounts for various web shops, health insurance, and a breakfast and lunch scheme, as well as social events to connect with your colleagues.
