By: København, Region Hovedstaden
Kontrakttype: Fuld tid

SAGA is growing, and so is the tech team behind all the software and hardware systems involved in all our projects.

The tech team - SAGA Labs - is responsible for pushing the boundary of software and hardware use in all our projects, and trying to shape the future of systems in manned spaceflight.

For this full-time position, we are looking for a developer with at least 1-2 years of professional experience to join our team and work closely with Simon, our CTO, and Marius, our lead hardware and software engineer, in taking on the coming projects and expanding our capabilities across the board.

While it is primarily a software developer role, it is crucial that you have an interest in a broad range of technologies and skills, as the work is much more diverse than your typical role in a traditional software development team.

We are looking for:

  • You have at least 1-2 years professional experience working as a Software Developer.
  • Experience working across the stack (DB, backend, frontend), ideally with TypeScript, React.
  • You are interested in a career centered in software development, but branching into many adjacent skills, especially electronics, hardware, and embedded systems – leading to quite varied activities in projects.
  • You are interested in developments in state of the art technology within software, hardware, and AI.

It's a big plus if you:

  • Have experience with any of the following technologies: Rust, C/C++, SQLHave some DevOps experience, with e.g. Docker, Cloud providers (e.g. GCP or AWS), Github Actions, Linux environments.
  • You have a knack for learning new things and understanding the fundamentals quickly.
  • Have an interest in hardware-related skills: 3D printing, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, circuits, 3D modeling.

What we offer:

  • Working closely with the rest of the tech team to keep expanding our capabilities and technical quality in software and hardware for Earth and Space.
  • A work environment, where the base assumption is, that we can build anything in-house (with soldering station, 3D printers, CNC-machines, laser cutters, welding equipment)
  • A chance to continue honing your “classical” software development skills, but also build a career in hardware design, development, and implementation.

Apply by sending the following:

  • CV / Resume
  • Portfolio
  • Motivational Letter

We look forward to hearing from you.

Love and Space, SAGA Space Architects
