The Role
As a Student Worker in R&D Financial Planning & Analysis, you will support the team with a wide range of tasks within financial reporting, analysis, and systems. Many of your tasks will be centered around the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and quarterly forecasting cycles. You will be working with creating and updating financial reports and presentations, assist with financial planning activities, and analyze data from SAP and our financial planning system, Adaptive Insights.
The R&D FP&A team is responsible for providing financial analysis and insights for the Global R&D organization in Genmab to drive business decisions. The team focuses on providing finance business partner support to R&D project teams and R&D functions, monthly reporting to executive management and R&D functions, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and various financial analyses on R&D project spend as well as R&D functional spend. The team collaborates with many departments and stakeholders across the global R&D organization.

Responsibilities
Your primary tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Preparing analyses used for assessing accruals for research and development activities in connection with month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial close.
- Supporting the monthly financial reporting process by maintaining, updating, and running financial reports in Excel (incl. VBA) and PowerPoint.
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts working closely with R&D Finance Business Partners and assisting in updating financial data in our planning system, Adaptive Insights.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity in various financial systems and financial reports.
- Conducting ad-hoc financial analyses.
Moreover, you meet the following professional requirements:
- Currently enrolled in last year Bachelor’s or 1st year of Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or another related area.
- Experienced in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
- You are a team player and a good communicator.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English as you will be engaging with many stakeholders of different nationalities.
