Job Description
Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a Production Engineer capable of driving improvements both independently and as a project leader. As our new Production Engineer, you will join the PVG team, responsible for machining, assembly, hydraulic testing, painting, and packaging. The team comprises twelve highly qualified employees who share overall responsibility for process optimization in the departments. You will be technically responsible for a portion of the assembly. Your tasks will range from creative and visionary development of production processes to documentation work and preparation of work instructions.
We provide the right tools and necessary knowledge to build upon your existing expertise. This means we are willing to invest in you and your future development, so that, in collaboration with your new colleagues, you become a valuable resource for the team and Danfoss.
Job Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Background & Skills
You have an educational background as a mechanical or production engineer – either as a recent graduate or with some years of experience in assembly, preferably from mass production. Experience with Lean and IATF 16949 is an advantage – otherwise, you will learn it with us. You should be able to work within the frameworks defined by applicable standards and guidelines, while also being able to think innovatively and view things from different perspectives. Experience with databases and SQL queries is a plus.
You thrive in a busy environment with many tasks and demonstrate timely diligence by taking responsibility and making independent decisions. Your work processes are structured and meticulous. You use your analytical skills and solid overview to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, while also contributing to the team's ongoing development. You have the ability to translate new ideas into practice and solve tasks both independently and in close collaboration with your colleagues.
You have a positive and approachable attitude, but also the necessary assertiveness to make things happen. You are data-driven, systematic, and energetic, and act responsibly and rationally – even in pressured situations. As a person, you are good at building trustworthy relationships, both internally and externally. You communicate clearly and precisely and are proficient in both Danish and English, in writing and speaking.
