Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Lead Project Assessor to conduct technical and commercial Due Diligence for investment opportunities, in our Project Management Office team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The role
You will be a Lead Project Assessor, responsible for conducting project assessments as part of key investment decisions gates. The assessments aim at ensuring an ‘outside in view’ of the project, safeguarding the investment, by checking and challenging the assumptions that are included in the business case.

You will join the Global PMO (Project Management Office), who oversees the full CIP portfolio of projects, covering all technologies across the globe. The team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing the CIP project delivery framework and tools, setting minimum requirements and best practice standards for executing projects. In the team you will find 6 professionals, who all have different areas of expertise, but all working towards increasing standardization, optimizing ways of working and providing value to the projects and to the investors of CIP.

Key responsibilities will consist of:
  • Lead and perform assessments of projects during the Development- and pre-construction phase
  • Ensuring that minimum standards are met and adhered to, and that red flags are identified, and mitigation-plans are implemented
  • Teach and instruct project teams in best practice standards and CIP minimum requirements.

  • CIP Investment Management
  • Project Directors & Project Team
  • Network companies.

You
You hold a relevant Master’s degree within business administration, finance, engineering and have min. 6 years of full-time experience working with the renewable energy sector.

You have held project leadership roles, and is now ready to transition from managing individual projects, to support the entire CIP project portfolio using your vast experience with developing projects and potentially also taking them through Construction.

In order to be a success, you have the ability to look at a project through both a technical and commercial angle and can guide our project teams based on your experience.

  • Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with business cases or project ownership
  • Curious and self-driven
  • Thriving with managing duties diligently and displaying attention to details and deadlines
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and writing and have great communication skills.
