Regional Financial Controller – Danx Carousel Group, Nordic & Baltic Sea Region

At DANX Carousel, we are looking for an experienced and driven Regional Financial Controller to take ownership of financial reporting across our Nordic and Baltic operations. In this key role, you will ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting and lead the development of robust financial processes and controls within the region.

Your mission:

As the Regional Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the full end-to-end monthly accounts production across the Nordic and Baltic entities. You will collaborate closely with regional leadership, operational teams and Finance Business Partners to deliver insightful, timely, and accurate financial information in line with group policies and deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and presentation of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reports, with detailed supporting schedules and performance commentary
• Investigation and explanation of variances to plan and prior periods
• Performing accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and journal postings
• Management of fixed asset registers and balance sheet reconciliations
• Implementation of group-wide financial controls and region-specific enhancements
• Line management and development of regional accounting team member(s)
• Leading audit preparation and acting as the key contact for external auditors in the region
• Supporting other finance tasks including VAT returns and statutory submissions
• Regular travel across the Nordic/Baltic region and to the UK
  
  

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified accountant
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting and/or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role within a multinational organization
• Advanced proficiency in excel
• Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
• Ability to lead and support a team and drive continuous improvement
  
  

Desirable experience:

• Experience with Microsoft Business Central
• Background in logistics or fast-paced, private equity-backed environments
