Department Overview

Dansk Beredskabskommunikation A/S (DBK), founded in 2001 and majority-owned by Motorola Solutions Inc., is a leading provider of critical communications services in Denmark. DBK is the supplier to the Danish Government of SikkerhedsNettet (SINE), the nationwide digital radio communication system for all Danish emergency services. Today, as part of the Motorola Solutions Group, DBK continues to innovate and provide exceptional service to both government and B2B customers.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance and Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the financial and compliance operations of DBK. You will work in an innovative and international environment, supporting the critical operation of SikkerhedsNettet, the Danish emergency services’ communication network. This “hands-on” position involves a blend of financial management, compliance oversight, and operational support, requiring a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively within a team and independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including journal entries, month-end close, invoicing, budgeting, forecasting (revenue, costs, fixed assets, and cash flow).
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms & conditions, Service Level Agreements, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set by the Danish State.
  • Collaborate with DBK Business Operations, MSI International Finance organization, government institutions, customers, and suppliers.
  • Support the preparation of the Annual Report and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) submissions.
  • Administer and monitor existing contracts, and participate in change order processes.
  • Handle requests from government institutions, customers, and suppliers, and participate in incident management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency and cost reductions.
  • Ensure adherence to DBK processes and procedures (D4) and record retention policies.
  • Contribute to the development of tools and processes to enhance KPI compliance.

Basic Requirements

Your Profile:

  • Experienced Business Finance Manager.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications operations in the operator business is preferred.
  • Experience working with customers and project teams.
  • Familiarity with Quality standards ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and ISO 2000.
  • Familiarity with Danish and US GAAP
  • Understanding of Information Security principles.
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in Danish and professional working proficiency in English.
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance from the Danish Secret Service (PET) is mandatory.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the telecommunications operator business and international organizations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to remain calm under pressure.
