PPO Digitalization & Excellence (D&E) in Operations

Our team is part of a larger organization responsible for Planning and Portfolio Optimization (PPO) on behalf of Novonesis Operations. PPO D&E is responsible for driving excellence in global planning processes (S&OP) and supportive systems (SAP IBP and APO). On behalf of PPO, we own the digitalization roadmap and deliver a wide range of critical business insights tools to enable Novonesis’s strategic goals and needs.

We are an international team of highly skilled planning and production experts, committed to shaping the future of planning and production execution in Novonesis. We support each other through close collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a strong team spirit that helps us navigate both everyday tasks and complex challenges.

Our Responsibilities Include

• Driving digitalization initiatives and delivering business insights tools
• Managing planning systems and processes (SAP IBP, APO)
• Supporting strategic decision-making through data and analytics
  
  

We are expanding into new areas such as AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics. We are piloting tools like Microsoft Copilot and SAP Joule to enhance our semantic models and data products.

Join Us in Shaping the Digital Future of PPO

We are looking for a Digital Developer to join our newly established Digitalization & Analytics team within the Planning and Portfolio Optimization (PPO) department. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact by helping shape the digital foundation of a growing team and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

In this role, you will lead the development and governance of digital tools and insights that support PPO’s strategic goals. You will act as a project manager and digital enabler—coordinating with technical teams, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality analytics solutions. You will also play a key role in driving our AI journey, leading pilot projects and implementing AI tools on top of our semantic models and data products.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, user-friendly dashboards by coordinating with technical experts and ensuring alignment with design principles
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across PPO to understand business needs and ensure the delivery of actionable, high-quality insights that support strategic and operational decision-making
• Lead the team’s AI journey by initiating and managing pilot projects and deploying AI tools that enhance our semantic models and data products (Copilot, SAP Joule and others)
• Manage the lifecycle of analytics and insights to support strategic decision-making across PPO
• Ensure digital governance of key tools and data products, maintaining data integrity and insight quality
• Promote digital tools and foster a culture of data curiosity and co-development within the PPO community
  
  

What You Bring

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to support complex processes and deliver value through digital solutions
• Solid understanding of business, production, or supply chain processes
• Project management experience, particularly in cross-functional and digital transformation initiatives
• A proactive, hands-on mindset with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• MSc. in Business Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in data and systems analysis, including Business Intelligence, planning, and ERP systems
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools and their application in business contexts
• Understanding of semantic data models and modern data architecture
• Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, KNIME, and Snowflake
• Experience working in agile environments and a passion for continuous improvement
  
  

Work model: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Work schedule: Standard full-time schedule

Travel requirements: Up to 10 working days per year
