Financial and Market Analyst for the Green Transition

Business analysis, customer contact, economic and financial modeling 

Do you have a good business understanding and are you great with numbers? Can you translate strategy into budgets and financial plans? Then this job is for you. 

1st Mile assists customers in finding financing for innovative technology projects, primarily within the green transition. 

You will work closely with customers - from small green tech start-ups to large corporations.

You will gain great insight into the customers' business ideas and your tasks will be to analyze and prepare financial and budget models based on their strategies, investment plans, market conditions, organizations, etc. 

In addition, you must ensure that your work is properly connected to your colleagues' input to the applications and you will write the necessary text for your financial and budget models. 

In addition, you will also work with the budget for the application itself and ensure an overview of the rules and guidelines that the customers and project partners must work within. The project partners can be other companies and universities. 

As part of the job you will manage some projects, plan and delegate tasks, and ensure compliance with all deadlines. 

There may be peak periods leading up to application deadlines; however, all deadlines are known well in advance, and 1st Mile is skilled at planning to avoid excessive workloads. 

During quieter times, there will be opportunities to take time off and to focus on optimizing 1st Mile's processes and methods. Additionally, remote work is possible when it aligns with the workflow. 

1st Mile has the highest success rate in the industry, and you will help them to maintain that. 

You come from a position where you analyze, prepare, calculate financial and budget models and write the corresponding text, either from a private or public company or an organization. Experience in writing applications for funding programs is an advantage but not a requirement.  

Also, experience in green energy or energy infrastructure is an advantage but not a requirement. 

It is a requirement, however, that your English in writing is at (almost) native level. Communication in the office and in dialogue with customers and partners is in English. 

You work independently, structured, and detail-oriented with a focus on meeting tight deadlines. You keep track of several parallel and complex processes with many participants and you ensure that all processes run as planned—whether you are responsible for them or not.
