Our new Sourcing Specialist, Electronics, will be part of a global Procurement team of 11 engaged colleagues.

Your Primary Responsibilities
The Sourcing Specialist, Electronics, plays a pivotal role in supporting the development team while bridging the gap between technical requirements and commercial strategies. This role is responsible for ensuring minimal future sourcing risks and optimizing the supplier base to secure optimal commercial agreements and technical alignment with current and future technological needs.
As the role is a new role and it must be expected to take part in developing strong processes with R&D as well as some operational tasks in a transition period.
You will be part of a smaller specialist team of 4, working with optimization and strategic vendor development.
Key focus areas:
Strategic Supplier Management: Negotiate pricing and contracts for purchases and commodities, overseeing supplier performance in line with supply chain management practices. Maintain key frame agreements to optimize prices and stock turn.
Project Management: Drive and manage projects as required, ensuring cross-functional alignment of policies and procedures. Support new R&D projects with risk mitigation, sourcing activities and price optimization activities.
Vendor Relationship Building: Establish, cultivate, and forecast relationships with strategic vendors, particularly focusing on managing the electronics/EMS supplier portfolio in close collaboration with local and global R&D functions.
Internal cooperation
Collaborating with R&D, Engineering, Quality, and colleagues in Procurement to ensure smooth and efficient purchasing.
Personal Qualifications
As a person you are proactive and persistent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Business and result oriented mindset – see the whole value chain. Ability to take responsibility for your task and prioritize tasks in a busy environment. Calm approach to problem solving even under pressure.
Attention to detail. Systematic and structured working with attention to detail. Positive attitude, team player. Follows processes and KPI, customer oriented and able to work in a changeable environment. Analytical skills, able to analyze requests within the big picture to determine the best course.
Professional Qualifications
Proven industry experience, especially within a purchasing department for a minimum of 4 years. Proficiency in various IT tools, particularly Excel. Background in electronic manufacturing/distribution companies will be advantageous. Prior experience in cost optimization projects is preferred.
Degree in Procurement with a master’s or a Business Degree, or substantial commercial experience. Experience working in companies during transformation for scaling will be valued.
Business English and Danish is required.
Travel expectations.
Up to 15% annually, potentially globally.
