We are looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join DESMI and support our Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) along with the wider commercial leadership team. This is a key role that links finance and commercial strategy, providing insights and financial leadership to support growth, performance, and critical decision-making.

As a trusted advisor, you will play an active role in shaping commercial priorities, challenging assumptions, and driving financial planning for the CCO’s area. The focus is on revenue growth, margin improvement, and long-term profitability.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be the primary finance partner to the CCO, leading planning and performance efforts across all commercial areas. This includes owning the financial planning cycle, ensuring it aligns with business goals, and delivering high-quality financial analysis to support commercial decisions.

Part of your work will be to build financial models and business cases for strategic projects and commercial investments. You will also contribute to shaping the FP&A function by applying your hands-on experience and best practices.

In This Role, You Will

  • Analyze sales performance, customer mix, and product margins to identify improvement opportunities
  • Provide insights that support commercial execution and long-term planning
  • Drive sales forecasting through data-driven insights across the full sales cycle from opportunity to quote, to order and invoicing by identifying trends, improving forecast accuracy, and supporting commercial planning
  • Collaborate with commercial teams on pricing strategies that reflect market conditions and support margin goals
  • Ensure strong financial governance and reporting compliance

Your background

You have a master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in finance or business partnering roles. You are comfortable working with senior leaders, translating complex data into actionable insights, and challenging the status quo when needed.

You bring commercial acumen, with a strong understanding of sales, pricing, and customer operations. Your technical skills include financial modeling, working with large data sets, and using ERP and BI tools. We work in D365FO and Power BI, so experience with these is a plus.

Fluency in Danish and English is required, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
