The Department of Computer Science (DIKU) at the University of Copenhagen invites applications for 1-2 PhD positions and 1-2 postdoctoral positions in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). These positions are part of the six-year TRACTION project, funded by Villum Fonden, focusing on theoretical research in HCI, including the development, impact, and application of theory in advancing technology and user experiences.
Requirements
– A relevant academic background in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or related fields
– Demonstrated interest or expertise in areas such as HCI theory, user interfaces, extended reality, haptics, or related research domains
– Strong motivation to contribute to theoretical advancements in HCI
– For postdoctoral applicants: a completed PhD in a relevant discipline
Both positions are fully funded and offer the opportunity to work within the Human-Centered Computing section at DIKU, in a collaborative and innovative research environment.
