Are you ready for a hands-on technical role with real infrastructure responsibilities in a growing, international IT setup?

We are looking for someone who thrives in a varied, technical environment and enjoys being part of a small, capable IT team supporting a global organisation. Based in our Copenhagen office, you will play a key role in both managing our local Data Centre and administering our hybrid Microsoft Azure environment, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient operations across our core infrastructure.

This includes responsibility for hardware lifecycle management, physical maintenance, and hands-on configuration of HP servers, high-performance workstations, Hitachi SAN, and Cisco Meraki infrastructure devices. You will also manage patching and out-of-band access for critical systems and ensure the stability and availability of our core systems.

You will also work closely with the rest of the IT team, collaborate with regional Office Managers and HR teams, and be a crucial part of supporting our users in Denmark. This includes helping with onboarding/offboarding, general ticket handling, and keeping our IT internal knowledge base up to date.

Some of your main responsibilities will be:

  • Administration of our Microsoft Azure cloud environment
  • Operation and management of our co-located Data Centre
  • Hardware lifecycle and maintenance (HP servers, SAN, networking)
  • Setup and manage out-of-band management tools (iLO/AMT, etc.)
  • Device and application management (Windows & Apple) on Microsoft Intune
  • General user and system administration/support on M365 and Entra ID
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation and guidelines

You have:

  • 4-6 years of experience with similar tasks in an international environment
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Intune
  • Experience with server hardware and SAN systems (HP, Hitachi)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Hyper-V is an advantage (Windows/Linux)
  • Exposure to Cisco Meraki or similar networking solutions is a strong plus
  • A solid understanding of IT security, governance, and compliance frameworks

As a person, you are someone who enjoys balancing structured infrastructure work with evolving cloud technologies. You like solving technical challenges, maintaining secure and stable systems, and supporting colleagues with a helpful and calm approach. You’re also happy documenting what you build and leaving things better than you found them.

You are very customer-focused and proactive, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly approach. You are capable of working well under pressure and have outstanding organisational ability.

In return, we offer you excellent opportunities to influence your daily work, develop new competences, and work on interesting projects. At Wood Thilsted, we care about our people, and we are committed to a brighter future. We have defined our set of values and behaviors that are at the heart of everything we do. Our work environment is a place where everyone can be themselves and be their best. We are result-orientated and innovation-driven at a high professional level and with excellence in delivery. Besides this we also offer competitive salary packages, pension, health and life insurance as well as flexibility in working hours and locations.
