As an Automation Engineer, you will join an exceptionally skilled team in Roskilde, Denmark, dedicated to successfully implementing and optimising automated production lines. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work with innovative technology and talented colleagues, in driving faultless production performance and various ambitious projects.

Due to high customer demand, this role represents an expansion to the Engineering department, to help us respond to increased customer demand / production volumes, and also undertake the great number of exciting projects lining up before us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partake in optimisation projects and the automatisation of some existing processes
  • Develop and lead projects, ensuring streamlined execution of automation plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support production and solve technical issues
  • Implement AI solutions to optimize production flows and reduce costs
  • Participate in data-driven business decision-making and responsiveness to customer feedback (no direct customer contact)
  • Champion quality and safety standards, ensuring compliance with GMx and other regulations
  • Facilitate lean (PPI) initiatives, continuously improving processes
  • Stay updated on industry trends by attending conferences and reading relevant literature

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Industrial, Mechanical, Plastics, Automation, or Manufacturing Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc./Can. Polyt)
  • Proficiency in Danish and English languages, both written and verbal
  • At least 2 years' of experience with automated production lines within a GMP environment, and understanding the importance of adhering to regs. in sterile working environments
  • Experience in project work with multiple collaborators, including equipment investments and process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ). Good communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong statistical understanding and ability to perform DOE's and running capability studies, with the use of appropriate software tool like Excel or other
  • High level of motivation, with exceptional attention to detail, a structured approach and great problem-solving skills
  • The ability to make decisions and act them out, with a curious and practical approach, and excellent organisational skills to manage workloads in a dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with Injection Molding process parameters and their impact on product quality would be a clear advantage
