Job Description
Excitement is in the air for a Manufacturing Portfolio Manager poised to make a significant impact in the mould manufacturing industry! This role offers an outstanding opportunity to shape the future of the feature and component portfolio, driving innovation and efficiency at every level!
In this dynamic position, the development of the mould manufacturing value chain will be shaped for the future, with a focus on detailed cost breakdowns from mould components down to individual features!
Core Responsibilities
Mould Manufacturing Development is a key development partner in the LEGO Group, where focus is to make special components to our key moulds for internal manufacturing of LEGO components.
Manufacturing Product Introduction department is a global provider of production data to out internal mould manufacturing sides. We are functional responsible for analyzing and providing production data to Insert factory shopfloor. This includes using of the state-of-the-art technology and software, within manufacturing of high-end mould components, to ensure a reliable and highly industrialized production environment, of single piece production.

Core Responsibilities
- Own and drive development of our feature and component portfolio within the mould manufacturing value chain
- Own and drive cost breakdown on mould components from mould down to feature level.
- Drive Value Engineering Projects, Strategize and execute value engineering projects across various manufacturing technologies and mould platforms to improve productivity and cost efficiency
- Drive Cost Reduction agenda, implement systematic approaches to reduce costs through technology innovation, alternative materials, and process improvements.
- Benchmarking trough the industry standard, conduct analysis to identify cost-effective technologies, materials, and design improvements.
- Detect and analyze optimization possibilities based on data, to always make the best compromise between quality, reliability and cost

Do You Have What It Takes
- Education within Engineering or a related field
- Minimum a decade of experience within manufacturing value chain, from the mould making industry or similar with low lot size and high complexity
- Proven track record with drive and own cost breakdown and value engineering portfolio
- Strong analytical skills, and ability to be responsible for a big and complex data set.
- Project management experience, and ability to navigate in a complex stakeholder landscape
- Strategic approach, and ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve organizational goals
- Phenomenal communication with stakeholders on all levels
- Previous experience with PLM systems
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Six Sigma Black belt
