Role Summary:
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Shipping Executive to join our team in Denmark. The role holder will be a key member of a team responsible for providing on-call service to our Principals to ensure the safe and smooth turnaround of all appointed vessels within the jurisdiction of the port office.
Hours: Standard working week with rotational on call coverage including evenings, weekends and public holidays
Contract: Permanent
Location: Frederikshavn, Denmark

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development of Infrastructure and Port Presence: Lead operational capabilities and enhance the organization's footprint in key Danish ports.
- Full responsibility for port and husbandry agency operations, from initial enquiry and nomination to completion, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Play an instrumental role in developing and structuring an organization to handle Governmental Services and Cruise operations.
- Manage duty rotas for out of office hours.
- Line management responsibilities for a small team.
- 3+ years of experience in operations/customer facing position.
- Prior port agency experience and/or a background in the maritime/shipping field is desirable.
- Full Danish Driving License.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience leading teams.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Competent user of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Driven and ambitious to further a career in the maritime sector in an operations role including regular travel to ports across the region.
