Are you passionate about technology and sales? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment? IBM is looking for a talented Partner Technical Specialist to join our team, specializing in our Software Data portfolio.

Based in Copenhagen, this role offers the opportunity to establish trusted advisor relationships with partners and customers, driving the adoption of IBM's cutting-edge technologies.

Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Promote IBM Data solutions and growth IBM technologies presence.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to partners, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to successfully sell and implement IBM’s solutions.
  • Develop and deliver engaging technical enablement sessions, including presentations, live demos, and hands-on workshops.
  • Work closely with internal teams (such as product specialists and sales teams) to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.
  • Be the technical focal point within designing solutions, and navigating sales cycles.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, IBM’s evolving technology stack, and the competitive landscape.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data solutions, along with a proven ability to build successful partnerships and support closing deals.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Good understanding of Data technologies, including data disciplines such as intelligence, integration etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Proven experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or technical consulting.
  • Familiarity with IBM’s Data products is a plus.
  • Experience with software and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Understanding of competitive Data solutions in the market
