We are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Head of Operations for Ferm Living, with a proven senior track record in leadership. In close collaboration with the Product Team, Commercial Team, and Finance Team, you will play a key role in taking Ferm Living to the next level and ensuring our continued growth and success.


About Ferm Living

Ferm Living is a Danish design and interior brand established in 2006. From our base in Copenhagen, we work with artisans around the world, fusing our Scandinavian mindset and design with global skills and traditions. We create two yearly design driven collections of furniture, accessories, and lighting – for all rooms in the home.

 

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, streamline supply chain processes, minimize costs, and maximize overall performance.

• Team Leadership & Development: Provide strong leadership and guidance to a diverse team, fostering a positive, motivating, and collaborative

work environment.

• Inventory Excellence: Oversee and optimize inventory management practices.

• Logistics & Warehouse Management: Manage logistics and warehouse operations with our 3PL partners in both Denmark and the USA.

• Order Fulfillment & Demand Planning: Drive efficient order processing and effective demand planning/merchandising strategies.

• Transportation Management: Oversee and optimize transportation logistics.

• Returns Optimization: Manage and improve the returns process.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure rigorous quality control standards are maintained.

• Compliance & Certification: Oversee compliance and certification processes.

 

As a vital member of the Leadership Team, the Head of Operations will both manage a team of 7 people and play a key role in cross-functional collaboration throughout the company, reporting to the Chief Brand- & Product Officer.


The position is full-time, based in our Head Office at Kuglegaarden in Copenhagen.

 

Experience and Expertise

• You have excellent leadership skills with a minimum of +6 years of similar experience, in addition to a proven track record of successfully motivating and building performance teams.

• You are strongly skilled in identifying operational optimization and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and monitoring supplier performance.

• You have a hands-on approach and bring a can-do attitude to everything you do, executing & problem-solving alongside your team.

• You bring exceptional organizational and time management abilities to the table and have excellent attention to detail.

• You demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills and are always aiming for optimization.

• You bring a commercial mindset & strong business acumen.
