Data Science meets Product Leadership

In this role, you’ll combine deep technical expertise as a senior data scientist with day-to-day team leadership. Roughly half your time will be spent on hands-on data science work, while the other half will focus on supporting your team, driving delivery, and ensuring smooth collaboration across stakeholders.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will design and execute advanced analyses to power forecasting, pricing, and market insights. You'll work closely with data engineers to build scalable pipelines and turn complex datasets into actionable, commercial insights.

As Product Lead, you'll guide the team’s agile rhythm, support planning and prioritization, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and delivery.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop predictive models and analytical solutions using Python, SQL, and Power BI
  • Collaborate with engineers to build and optimize robust data pipelines
  • Drive team planning, retrospectives, and agile delivery routines
  • Align closely with the Head of Product and stakeholders to ensure focus and transparency
  • Improve team performance through metrics, feedback, and structured workflows
  • Lead stakeholder workshops to explore data opportunities and guide solution design

What you bring to the table

You may come from a technical, analytical, or product-oriented background – what matters most is your ability to combine deep data knowledge with collaborative leadership. Ideally, you bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Business Intelligence, or similar roles
  • Strong skills in Python, SQL, and Power BI – and a structured approach to problem solving
  • A product mindset: you focus on business value, user needs, and continuous learning
  • Experience leading or mentoring others in an agile development context
  • The ability to translate complex data into clear insights and commercial impact
  • Familiarity with data architecture and scalable systems (Spark experience is a plus)
