Your Role

As an Application Specialist in Biochemistry, you will be part of our Applications Team within the Commercial Chapter, reporting directly to the Application Team Lead. You'll work closely with a team of highly skilled and collaborative professionals supporting a broad range of clinical laboratory specialties across Denmark. Together with 2 colleagues, your focus will be on Clinical Biochemistry.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver high-level support to customers, implement Roche’s diagnostic solutions, and contribute to key projects and knowledge-sharing events across the healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure successful implementation of Roche’s core lab solutions, including chemistry and immunology analyzers, pre-/post-analytical systems, and integrated software solutions
  • Support solution rollouts in alignment with customer expectations and Roche’s quality standards
  • Take ownership of project planning, coordination, and follow-up during system implementation
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to highlight the value of our core lab solutions through expert knowledge and hands-on demonstrations
  • Deliver effective training and coaching — in our training center, remotely, or on-site at customer facilities
  • Guide customers through change management processes with confidence and empathy
  • Foster strong, trust-based relationships with customers through consistent support and collaboration


Qualifications
  • A relevant educational background such as laboratory technician, biomedical analyst, MSc, PhD, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a fully automated lab environment using analyzers and/or pre- and post-analytical systems
  • A strong interest in Lab IT middleware and automation
  • Experience with Mass spectrometry would been seen as advantageous
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for customer service and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork
  • Willingness to travel within Denmark for customer visits, remote work, and internal collaboration several times per week
  • Native-level Danish and solid proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to prioritize tasks based on customer needs
  • A sense of accountability and alignment with Roche’s values and vision

Din rolle

Som Application Specialist inden for biokemi, bliver du en del af vores Applikationsteam i Commercial Chapter og refererer direkte til Teamlederen for Applikationsteamet. Du vil arbejde tæt sammen med et team af højt specialiserede og engagerede specialister, der understøtter en bred vifte af laboratorie specialer i hele Danmark. Sammen med 2 kolleger vil dit fokus være på Klinisk biokemi.

I rollen som applikationsspecialist får du mulighed for at yde support til vores kunder på et højt niveau, implementere Roches diagnostiske laboratorieløsninger og bidrage til projekter, samt vidensdelingsaktiviteter i sundhedssektoren.

Dine ansvarsområder

  • Sikre vellykket implementering af Roches Core-lab-løsninger, herunder biokemiske og immunologiske udstyr, præ-/post-analytiske systemer samt integrerede softwareløsninger
  • Sikre løsninger i overensstemmelse med kundens forventninger og Roches kvalitetsstandarder
  • Tage ejerskab over projekter og planlægning, koordinering samt opfølgning under og efter implementering
  • Præsentere værdien af vores løsninger, både ved et højt vidensniveau og praktisk tilgang, i et tæt samarbejde med Salg og Marketing.
  • Planlægge og forestå undervisning og træning, både teoretisk og praktisk – enten i vores træningscenter, online eller direkte hos kunden
  • Guide og coache kunder sikkert og trygt gennem forandringsprocesser
  • Opbygge og vedligeholde stærke og tillidsbaserede relationer til kunder gennem løbende support og fokusere på samarbejde og partnerskaber.

Kvalifikationer

  • Relevant uddannelsesmæssig baggrund, fx laboratorietekniker, bioanalytiker, cand.scient., Ph.d. eller tilsvarende
  • Minimum 5 års erfaring fra et fuldautomatiseret laboratoriemiljø med brug af laboratorieudstyr/instrumenter og/eller præ- og postanalytiske systemer
  • Stor interesse for laboratorie-IT, middleware og automatisering
  • Erfaring med massespektrometri vil anses som en fordel
  • En samarbejdsorienteret tilgang samt passion for kundeservice og løbende forbedringer
  • Gode kommunikationsevner og en proaktiv holdning til teamarbejde
  • Villighed til at rejse i Danmark (op til 50 %) i forbindelse med kundebesøg på laboratorier, og intern sparring
  • Flydende dansk og god til engelsk skrift og tale
  • Fleksibilitet og evne til at prioritere opgaver efter kundebehov
  • Evner at have mange bolde i luften
  • Ansvarsfølelse og en stærk identifikation med Roches værdier og vision
