Job Description
Are you ready to oversee and drive the development of the LEGO Groups’ digital backbone for product development (PLM)?
We have a rare opportunity to work at the heart of the LEGO Group, building and architecting the foundational capabilities to design, develop, manufacture and launch new products. Join us and demonstrate your digital product leadership to shape the future of our Play Experience Lifecycle Management (PELM) at The LEGO Group.
We are seeking a top-tier professional with a wealth of experience. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of PLM systems and vendors, in different consumer goods categories. This role will bridge between our Product Marketing and Development organization (PMD) and our Digital Organization leading a team of Senior Product Mangers. We are seeking someone who is knowledgeable about modern approaches to federated PLM ecosystems and digital threads. The role is essential to our future and will be working closely with our Head of Global PELM Transformation to build the systems that we shall use for many years to come. We aim to provide richer play experiences to our customers built upon physical, hybrid and digital elements.
Core Responsibilities
Play your part in our team succeeding
This role is integral to our global Digital Product organization sitting within Innovation Engagement team (and will work directly alongside 2 other Product Leaders focusing on enabling the Physical Product Development functions at the LEGO Group). You will also work across our extended digital ecosystem—collaborating with digital product colleagues working with Product Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Retail, and more—to ensure the full LEGO product lifecycle is considered and represented in our roadmap. Reporting to the Head of Product, and working closely with the Head of PLM Transformation, you'll balance hands-on leadership with strategic oversight to accelerate the development of the future ecosystem, always focusing on data and the cross-business lifecycle experience.
This new Product Leader role is pivotal to ensuring our next generation PLM systems can handle all the complexities and variables that come with multiple factories, different market needs and new play experiences that bridge physical and digital worlds and infuse traditional sets with electronic enabled interactive play.
